This Weeks Favourites #1

I decided this week I’d do a weekly favourites, something different and also because I know I’m going to have a whole lot of new favourite products to post about at the end of the month! My Glosscars prize pack is on its way to me right now! I already know there will be lots of product reviews coming courtesy of this prize pack, and no doubt a whole lot of favourites at the end of the month.
So before I forget about my current favourites I want to share them with you right now, right this second! Let’s do it!

Firstly, you all know I love the Pure Fiji products, but just recently I have discovered a scent I never knew existed, a scent I need in my life for the rest of my life, Star fruit. In my recent Pure Fiji Haul post you would have seen I purchased a small sample size set of the shower gel and lotion. I’m bummed I didn’t get a bigger size to be honest! This scent is the most amazing thing I’ve smelt in a while. Fruity, yet it makes you smell ‘clean’ I honestly don’t know how to describe it, but the scent stays around for ages. If you get the chance please sample it! (You can even eat this fruit, cook it and make jams out of it!)

Next up is an old product that I’ve fallen in love with again, my Naked 2 Palette. I had a little break from this when I purchased my Sigma Palette, but I’ve since given it a bit more love and I’m enjoying it all over again! The colours are lovely and suit all skin tones, and the colour pay off and pigmentation of these shades are amazing! I don’t seem to need to apply as much as I do with the Sigma Palette. They work great for a day time look and even better for evenings!

This is probably the most luxe product I own, the Nuxe Lip Balm. I’m crazy about this baby! It’s great to apply at night before bed time and let the goodness soak in overnight, but I also use it in the morning before applying my lipstick. Honestly I apply it at about 8am and my lips are really moisturised until literally about 1pm, even with a morning coffee and lots of water!

And another oldie but a goodie is my Chanel Mat Lumiere Foundation. I’m not sure why I suddenly like this more than I did originally, I swear before it was too dark for me and that was during summer! Now it seems to be ok, and doesn’t oxidise as much as it did before. Applies flawlessly and doesn’t accentuate my dry patches nor look too matte either!

To help my skin look a bit more glowing without the ‘oily’ shine look, I’ve been enjoying a liquid highlighter on my cheek bones. Currently I’m using the So Susan water-based luminizer, which I received in a beauty box subscription!  Leaves a subtle glow on my cheek bones, truly lovely!

What are your favourite products this week?
